About MoTA

The Missouri Trucking Association was incorporated in 1937. Today it represents the interests of over 725 member companies that operate trucks, including both for-hire and private carriers, and allied members that provide products and services to the motor carriers industry.

Members are eligible for cost-saving programs, including driver screening and drug and alcohol testing (USIS Services), ATA Towing Alliance and Guaranteed UPS Air Delivery.

MoTA informs its membership on important issues by publishing a monthly newsletter, periodic legislative bulletins, and special bulletins.  Educational seminars and an annual convention keep the membership informed on the latest developments in the multitude of state and federal laws and regulations affecting the motor carrier industry.

The Council of Safety Supervisors membership, dedicated safety professionals from Association member companies, places emphasis on the industry dedication to highway safety. The Council conducts annual truck driving championships open only to MoTA members that affords professional drivers the opportunity to compete based on their driving skills and knowledge of truck safety. In addition the Council sponsors a  safe driver club, driver of the month, driver of the year, and fleet safety contests to determine the industry's safest drivers and companies.

Safety forms and products, many of which are required by various regulatory agencies, are available to both members and non-members at very attractive prices. Contact Darla Feyen at (573) 634-3388 or go to "Safety Forms" on this website.
